Tomodachi Plaza is committed to providing a safe environment for every user, especially minors. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following content and behavior are strictly forbidden on Tomodachi Plaza and result in immediate permanent removal:
- CSAM: Child Sexual Abuse Material of any kind, whether real, drawn, or simulated.
- Sexualization of minors: any content that sexualizes, grooms, or inappropriately targets a minor.
- Endangerment: content that exploits, endangers, or promotes harm against children.
- Facilitation: solicitation, promotion, or facilitation of any of the above.
Any user who violates these rules is permanently banned without warning, and their content is removed.

In-App Reporting
Every Mii submission, profile, and comment on Tomodachi Plaza can be reported directly from within the app. Users can flag content for inappropriate material, spam, copyright, or other concerns.
Reports involving child safety are escalated to moderators immediately and reviewed as a top priority.

Automated Content Moderation
All images uploaded to Tomodachi Plaza pass through automated content moderation powered by Sightengine. Uploads containing nudity, sexual content, minors in unsafe contexts, or other policy-violating material are automatically blocked or quarantined before reaching the platform.
Suspicious uploads are additionally subject to manual review by our moderation team.

Account Controls and Blocking
Users can block other users at any time to prevent further contact, comments, or visibility of content. Blocked users cannot comment on, interact with, or view each other's Miis.
Users can also delete their account and all associated data at any time from the profile settings page.

Moderation Team
Our moderation team reviews reports and proactively monitors platform activity. Moderators have full authority to remove content, suspend accounts, and issue permanent bans.
Severe violations — particularly those involving child safety — result in immediate permanent bans without warning.

Reporting to Authorities
Tomodachi Plaza complies with all relevant child safety laws in the jurisdictions we operate in. Any confirmed instance of CSAM or child exploitation is reported to:
- NCMEC CyberTipline: report.cybertip.org
- Local law enforcement where applicable under national and regional law.

Minimum Age
Tomodachi Plaza is not directed at children under the age of 13. By using the service, users confirm that they are at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by their jurisdiction to consent to the processing of personal data.
Accounts found to belong to users below this age are removed.
